About the team: The US team manages all of DCMN’s client strategy and execution for North America. We work hand-in-hand with our colleagues across offices in Berlin, Munich and Amsterdam to execute market entry and growth campaigns in the US and Canada. We are also responsible for all domestic US clients. We are a highly collaborative team and work together to solve all challenges. We expect honesty from each other and highly value the trust we have built both in the team and with our clients.

How you will make an impact:

  • As Account Manager + Strategist, you approach clients at eye-level to build long term partnerships which are based on trust, honesty and reliability. 
  • You ask the right questions to create a holistic in-depth understanding of a client's needs above and beyond their current marketing challenges. 
  • You are the client's main challenger, helping them uncover any blind spots, and always thinking one step ahead.  
  • You support junior and mid-level Account Manager + Growth Strategists, ensuring that everyone is aligned on a client's ultimate goals and targets, enabling them with guidance and internal strategic help. 
  • Based on your holistic understanding of a client's needs and challenges and the input you receive from functional experts, you provide individual strategic guidance and advice to clients because you truly care about the client's success. 
  • You surprise clients with new insights and innovative solutions, thereby demonstrating that they truly care about the client's growth and its long-term goals. 


Skills you will need to be successful: 

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing and strategy at a Media Agency (business development experience is a plus)
  • Operational know-how & understanding of performance marketing, brand building and KPIs: You know the full media landscape and all marketing channels and how they are used and interact. You master marketing and brand-related KPIs to measure impact. 
  • You know how to build marketing strategies across channels, and know your way around media buying.
  • You have excellent knowledge of media and non media solutions and their relationship with one another. You also understand market research, creative strategies and brand building.
  • You know campaign workflows by heart, and project management comes easy to you. You know how to ensure operational excellence within the team.
  • You have already translated client needs into project goals, objectives and KPIs. You are used to managing (yearly) strategic plans aligned with the client's business and direction beyond just media.
  • You have a track record of creating compelling, data-based strategic growth stories for pitches and client meetings, connecting all relevant areas of a client's business and assessing the long-term effects.
  • You are excited to share your knowledge and mentor more junior members of your team. Succeeding as a team and collaboration within your organization are very important to you. 
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and development is something you always find time for, and you bring your learnings to your team and clients.
  • You are a strong strategic and analytical thinker, and have developed networking and relationship building skills. Your friends and colleagues would confirm that empathy is one of your strong suits.
