As an appreciated member of the Finance Team, you prepare and provide reliable and timely accounting information to both internal and external stakeholders. Within our Finance Team, you are solely responsible for the day-to-day financial accounting of your assigned entities. You control and steer accounting processes and ensure consistent data quality as the base for internal management reporting. You are an important source for developing and implementing best practices for our accounting and closing processes, and provide correct accounting and documentation in accordance with GAAP to our Group intelligence function. 


You will be working in: English and German (fluency required), further languages are a plus - for example French


How you will make an impact:

  • Process and post the accounting of our national and international entities
  • Check and book media vendor invoices and other expenses as well as calculating accruals for outstanding invoices (Account payables)
  • Prepare and book sales invoices in accordance with our Client Teams as well as support our Dunning management (Account receivables)
  • Prepare payment runs and book bank transactions (Cash management)
  • Support in monthly closing, and annual audits, including relevant G/L entries according to GAAP (Reports)
  • Support on inter-company reconciliations, incl. settlements (Consolidation)
  • Assist and execute ad hoc project work as required 
  • Support consistently on process optimisations


Skills you will need to be successful: 

  • Ideally 2 years relevant working experience in financial accounting
  • Respecting and understanding different cultural values
  • Solid knowledge of bookkeeping principles in HGB and/or local GAAP
  • Organisational talent with an independent and structured way of working
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is a big plus
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
